Nuclear Cardiology is the main reason for beginning of the diagnosis of heart disease and the assessment of disease extent and the detection of outcomes in the setting of coronary artery disease. Nuclear cardiology studies use non-invasive methods to analyses myocardial blood flow determine the pumping function of the heart as well as visualize the size and placing of a heart attack. Among the techniques of nuclear cardiology, myocardial perfusion imaging is the most commonly used.
